Ernest Hemingway House Museum
Ernest Hemingway and his wife Pauline lived in an old coral stone house from 1931 until the end of their marriage in 1940. Today, the house is a tribute to "Papa's" life and work, for it was here that he wrote such masterpieces as A Farewell to Arms and For Whom the Bell Tolls. Fort Zachary Taylor State Historic Site
Recently rediscovered and unearthed this site is a treasure trove of Civil War weaponry and memorabilia. Beautiful mid-19th-century arched brickwork, parade grounds and the largest collection of Civil War cannons in the US. Beautiful little beach, especially suited for sunset-viewing and boat-watching. Mel Fisher's Maritime Heritage Society Museum
Don't miss this phenomenal exhibition of the treasure from the Nuestra Senora de Atocha and the Santa Maragarita, which sunk in the Atlanta Ocean in 1622 during a hurricane. 550 people and a cargo of gold, silver, emeralds and more were lost to the sea. Key West Aquarium
