The main entry to the old city of Nafplio was from the Pylis OF Xiras (Gate of land). As remuneration, the god of the sea gave the dolphin constellation in order for it to live for all eternity. Amfitriti was worshipped with great acknowledgments in many cities of Ancient Greece - mainly coastal cities such as the Cyclades, Lesvos, Thassos and elsewhere.
