The Buddhist sculptures at Amravati and Nagarjunkonda also attract art lovers. Remains of stupas and monasteries and a university were discovered here, proving it to be a center of Buddhist culture. Indian archaeologists have saved these ruins and they have been elevated to a beautiful island museum in the middle of the lake.
