Deer Park Hotel is situated in the ground of Howth Castle. Although only nine miles from Dublin City Centre, it is remarkably peaceful, being surrounded on all sides by golf courses apart from the south, where the spectacular rhododendron gardens cascade down the rocky hillside. Its 78 bedrooms are decorated and furnished to the highest standards and a large number of them look out over the sea at a panorama described by H.G. Wells as The finest view west of Naples. The hotel boasts a fine restaurant, a 17 metre swimming pool with sauna and steam room, and two all-weather tennis courts as well as our guests have the opportunity to play what are the finest park golf courses in the district. Directions

From Dublin Airport take M1 towards Dublin. Leave the motorway at 1st Exit (Junction 3) signed for N32/Malahide. Follow signs for N32. Continue straight over 4 roundabouts and several sets of traffic lights. At T-Junction turn right. At Sutton Cross traffic lights bear left. Deer Park Hotel is on the right after approx. 1.5 miles.

Breakfast 7.30 am to 10 am Buffet type breakfast served in restaurant. Dinner 6 pm to 9.30 pm Early Bird and a la carte dinner menu available. Bar or Bistro lunch served during the week. Full Sunday Lunch served in restaurant 12.30 to 14.30.

Area Attractions

A golfers paradise - as well as our own four courses, the hotel is within easy reach of a number of other well know golf clubsin the district, most notably the fine links courses of Royal Dublin, Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links and St. Margaret's Golf Club. Rhododendron Gardens at the back of hotel. National Transport Museum is situated on the estate grounds in the converted farm buildings and has an extensive collection of old vehicles from all over Ireland. The star of the collection is the No. 9 Howth tram - the last to ever run in Ireland. Scenic walks nearby. Motor boat trips to Ireland's Eye from Howth Harbour.
