Grifone Hotel is a modern and comfortable hotel, located in a residential and quiet area of Florence, just 20 minutes walking from the historical city centre, reachable also by public bus transportation ndeg 14. The hotel has 83 elegantly furnished rooms and apartments, provided with all modern comforts. THE PARKING AREA: the Hotel has a large, private parking area reserved for its guests (the cost is Euro 9,00 per day per car). ROOMS: all rooms are far from noise and traffic and they grant a high level of privacy and comfort to Hotel guests. The rooms are provided with satellite tv color, wire broadcasting, minibar, climatization, telephone with direct out side line, en-suite bathroom with shower or tub and hairdryer. It is possible to reserve non smoking rooms. Galilei: By car: motorway A11 (Firenze-Mare) to Firenze nord, do not exit the motorway but get into motorway A1, direction Rome to the exit Firenze Sud. By train: direct line from the airport to Florence railway station. Distance: about 80 km. From motorway A1: Exit Firenze sud, follow indications 'Florence centre', at the first traffic light, turn left, go straight on, following indications Hotel Grifone, with river Arno on your left. At the third traffic light, turn right, the second turn left and the first right. Distance from main cities: Rome about 270 km , Milan about 320 km.
