Milan, IT
Park Hyatt Milan is an elegant boutique hotel, ideally located right in the heart of Milan, just steps away from Piazza del Duomo and Teatro alla Scala opera house. The hotel borders Milan's famous Galleria, and is within walking distance of the ultra-chic shops in Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. Park Hyatt Milan is also close to Milan's Stock Exchange and the financial district. Park Hyatt Milan is set in a palatial, classical building that dates from 1870. The hotel's interior architecture and design is by Ed Tuttle, well known for his work at the recently opened Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme. Tuttle's vision was to create a feeling of tranquillity, luxury and dignity throughout the hotel. To do so, he kept the hotel's ceilings high and spaces large, supporting the sense of abundant reach with clean, sharp lines. His muted colour palette, use of luxury fabrics and generous use of travertine stone, all contribute to the sense of timeless, gracious simplicity throughout Park Hyatt Milan. Park Hyatt Milan's 117 spacious guest rooms, including 26 suites, are custom-designed to offer hotel guests a relaxing haven of comfort and the benefit of cutting-edge communications. The hotel facilities at Park Hyatt Milan include a Spa with a gym, two treatment rooms with private showers, travertine walls, as well as separate facilities for women and men with steam rooms for peaceful relaxation. Refined and innovative, Park Hyatt Milan's main restaurant, The Park, is decorated with Kim Rebohlz's pastel artworks and offers hotel guests a seasonal Italian cuisine, featuring the freshest of local farm produce. The Park Bar at Park Hyatt Milan is vibrant and stunning, the perfect place to end a busy day with an aperitivo, a symbol of the Milanese lifestyle. The ideal place to unwind and relax, the hotel bar has large floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the Galleria, black leather seats and travertine walls. The hotel Lobby Lounge, La Cupola, serves creative all-day dining specialities under a nine-metre-high glass dome, providing this part of the hotel with a bright and exclusive feel. Park Hyatt Milan offers 335 square metres of function space, accommodating up to 100 guests, conveniently located in central Milan. The hotel's function rooms can also be used for banqueting and private dining, with the added advantage of an extra 52 square metres of pre-function space plus excellent catering facilities. All Park Hyatt Milan's meeting rooms benefit from natural daylight and high-tech multimedia, as well as wireless broadband Internet connectivity. As Hyatt's first hotel in Milan, Park Hyatt Milan is a distinguished property designed to meet the needs of discerning individual travellers, promising elegant and gracious service on a personal and intimate scale.

The Park
Sumptuous, simple and innovative, The Park is truly reflective of the inspirational epicurean prowess of modern, cosmopolitan Milan. The menu is based on Italian regional dishes, exclusive ingredients and the freshest seasonal items available on the market and complemented by fine quality wines and an exclusive selection of Italian vintages. All the glassware, silverware and Limoges china have been specifically designed for Park Hyatt Milan to complement the hotel's innovative design concept. The hotel's restaurant is accessible from both La Cupola Lobby Lounge and from Via Silvio Pellico. The restaurant seats 82 guests and has a view of central Milan's historic buildings. The Park is the ideal place to host intimate gatherings to celebrate family, social and business occasions. Open: Seven days a week for lunch and dinner
La Cupola
La Cupola is the stylish new rendezvous of the jet set social scene in Milan. Located in the heart of the hotel, under a soaring cupola supported by eight circular columns and amidst the contemporary elegance of traditional Italian travertine marble, La Cupola's cosy and refined atmosphere sets the mood for leisurely relaxation. La Cupola features simple, yet richly coloured decor. Heavy silks in Imperial yellow and aubergine cover the walnut-backed banquettes, prominently overlooked by Gerard Richter's astounding 1968 vision of Milan's cathedral in Piazza del Duomo. Ed Tuttle's use of unpolished travertine marble, combined with four large, rose granite urns, gives La Cupola a classical Italian look. Under the streams of natural light and back-lit alabaster panels that surround the glass dome, La Cupola is a place where patrons can enjoy a relaxing breakfast, a casual lunch, an afternoon tea or a glass of champagne and take in an ambience of relaxed sophistication in a comfortable and stylish environment. Whether for an afternoon pick-me-up after shopping or sightseeing in the surrounding area, La Cupola sets the trend as the meeting point in the heart of Milan.
The Park Bar
Located on the ground floor, The Park Bar is accessible both from La Cupola Lobby Lounge and from its own dedicated street entrance. Adjacent to The Park, The Park Bar has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a stunning view of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The arc-shaped bar, with its gunmetal finish on bronze and glass shelving, together with the travertine marble decorated walls, pair up to create a warm and inviting ambience in which guests can enjoy intimate gatherings and conversations. The Park Bar is an ideal venue in which to unwind and relax, whether for a pre-dinner drink or an afternoon cappuccino. Starting at 11:00 am, The Park Bar serves a variety of refreshments, delectable bar snacks and delicate lunches throughout the day. It is a welcoming meeting spot for business people, shoppers and tourists alike, who want to enjoy fresh and light innovative cuisine. During the evenings, The Park Bar offers an excellent selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and a wide range of refined wines and champagnes, making it the ideal setting to round off the evening in an atmosphere of simplicity and tranquillity, combined with the understated elegance, typical of Milan.
