This rally is one of the few rallies in the country that allow spectators on the launch field. A downtown festival also takes place at this time with more than 100 crafters and vendors along with a nearby AntiqueFest.

Each spring on the last weekend in April tagged trout, caught in the Genesee River, could land lucky anglers large amounts of cash.

The cooler weather brings breathtaking fall foilage. Our colorama is usually at its peak sometime between the 3rd week of September and the 2nd week of October. The Wellsville area is known for some of the best whitetail deer and wild turkey hunting in the Northeast. The most bucks per square mile are found here in Allegany County. Turkeys as well as small game are plentiful.
