The focal point of Hotel Monaco is its comfortable lounge and dining room where you can have a relaxing drink or a hearty breakfast. Here old-world charm abounds, from the exposed rustic beams to timber panelling. Enjoy breakfast menu selections or choose a drink from the Virtual Barmaid. French doors open to the patio, relax outside admiring the backdrop of views over the bay to the mountains of the Kahurangi National Park or sit awhile beside the log fire inside. The resort's restaurant including alfresco dining is to be built adjacent to the hotel. The restaurant , with dining on the jetty alongside the pond, has a planned opening for Spring 2006. Also planned is The Quiet Woman, a country pub with two bars and outside casual dining.
