The only hotel in Zurich located on the River Limmat, the Hotel zum Storchen embraces this honour with great dignity. But then, the 'Storchen' has been renowned for its hospitality and service for over 650 years. The hotel stands on a truly historic spot that has always boasted a traditional guest house. Consequently, the hotel's decor features a wonderful blend of the traditional and the modern that will ensure its popularity for years to come. How to reach Hotel Zum Storchen
by car: follow the sign 'City' or 'See' (Lake), then drive along the river Limmat, cross the 'Münsterbrücke' (bridge) and turn right into the 'Storchengasse' to the Weinplatz. By train: the hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the railway station away. From the sirport: by taxi you need 20 minutes, or 30 minutes by shuttle bus.

The hotel offers 4 fine meeting and banqueting rooms for business functions and festive occasions, for up to 40 people. There is a comprehensive Business Centre including facsimile, photocopying, video and PC service.

The hotel offers a superb array of dining opportunities on the first floor: the excellent Rotisserie restaurant with its genuine 'Guildhouse' atmosphere, the lovely terrace restaurant and the elegant Storchen-Bar with piano entertainment every night. The Italian bar Barchetta, with its Colonnade Cafe on the ground floor, is a popular meeting point. Our restaurant La Rotisserie will be closed from Monday July 12 until Sunday August 22, 2004 due to renovation. Clients can have breakfast, lunch or dinner either on the terrace or in one of our banqueting rooms. The first two weeks will be very noisy from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 5pm.

In keeping with the age-old hospitality of this fine hotel, the General Manager Philippe Jaussi invites you to run with him along the most scenic routes around the edge of Lake Zurich! In summer, the hotel's private pier is a launching spot for scenic boat rides, and the many cultural attractions of Zurich are within easy walking distance.
