The Tudor Hotel New York is conveniently located on Manhattan's East side, one block away from the United Nations and within walking distance of some of New York's legendary sites, such as the Empire State Building, Times Square and Grand Central Station. Originally built as the Tudor Hotel in 1931, the hotel is now a recognized historical New York landmark. Due to its close proximity to the United Nations, it has long been home to visiting dignitaries, diplomats and heads of state. In 1997, the hotel became the Crowne Plaza at the United Nations. In 2007 it was proudly named again The Tudor Hotel at the United Nations.

With the bedroom separated from the living space, you have additional space for work or privacy from others in your party who are utilizing the sofabed in the living room area. As in our Junior Suites, the marble bathrooms provide bidets and whirlpool spa tubs for your relaxation and rejuvenation. Pop in a CD, turn on the tub and let the stress of the day melt away. With either a king or queen bed in the bedroom, you will enjoy plenty of space to rest. A Standard Room

From LaGuardia International Airport- Take Grand Central Parkway West to the Triborough Bridge and follow signs for Manhattan. Take FDR Drive South to the 49th Street / UN garage exit and continue along 49th Street to Second Avenue. Take Second Avenue to 42nd Street, where the hotel is located on the southeast corner. From John F Kennedy International Airport- Upon exiting the terminal, take the Van Wyck Expressway to the Long Island Expressway, heading west to the Midtown Tunnel. Continue west one block to Third Avenue and make a right. At 42nd Street, make another right and drive one block to Second Avenue, where the hotel is located on the southeast corner. From Newark International Airport- Take the New Jersey Turnpike North and follow signs for New York City / Lincoln Tunnel. Take exit 16E Lincoln Tunnel. Upon leaving the tunnel, follow signs for East 42nd Street / Times Square. Stay on 42nd Street until you reach Second Avenue. The hotel is located on the southeast corner. From Northern New Jersey / Northeast Pennsylvania via the George Washington Bridge- Exit to West Side Highway and drive south to 42nd Street. Drive east along 42nd Street to Second Avenue. The hotel is located on the southeast corner. From Points South including DC, I-95 North and Route 280- Follow appropriate route to the Lincoln Tunnel exit. Take exit 16E Lincoln Tunnel. Upon leaving the tunnel, follow signs for East 42nd Street / Times Square. Stay on 42nd Street until you reach Second Avenue. The hotel is located on the southeast corner. From Upstate New York via NY Thruway I-87- Take the Thruway southbound to the Triborough Bridge and follow signs for Manhattan. Take Harlem River Drive southbound and continue to FDR Drive southbound. Take the 49th Street / UN garage exit and proceed to Second Avenue. Take Second Avenue to 42nd Street. The hotel is located on the southeast corner. From Connecticut / New England via I-95 South- Take I-95 South to the Triborough Bridge and follow signs for Manhattan. Take Harlem River Drive southbound and continue to FDR Drive southbound. Take the 49th Street / UN garage exit and proceed to Second Avenue. Take Second Avenue to 42nd Street. The hotel is located on the southeast corner. From Long Island- Take the Long Island Expressway to New York City, which will bring you to the Queens Midtown Tunnel. Upon leaving the tunnel, continue to Third Avenue and turn right towards 42nd Street. Turn right onto 42nd Street and go one street to Second Avenue. The hotel is located on the southeast corner.
